This week, Assistant Attorney General Rebecca Tepper sent a letter to the Department of Public Utilities urging an investigation into the profits of utility companies in Massachusetts. The return on investment allowed for utilities is declining nationally but as Tepper’s letter states, the rates in MA “are trending up, not down.”
