Equity and Inclusion in Offshore Wind

On June 24th, ELM convened an event with the four offshore wind leaseholders and seventeen organizations and institutions that can connect them to minority businesses, train minority talent, and inform environmental justice priorities. New England’s growing offshore wind industry has the potential to become an example of diversity and inclusion – and these kinds of relationships are foundational.

Speakers included representatives from the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts, the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, GreenRoots, the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council, and more.

ELM has compiled a contact list for the developers and the invited organizations to continue to collaborate.
