Ann Roosevelt

Ann Roosevelt has been an active environmentalist for many years and has been a member of the ELM Board for over 20 years. Her past positions include Assistant Science Advisor for Senator Ted Kennedy, Legislative Director of Friends of the Earth, and Director of the New England Office of Friends of the Earth. Ms. Roosevelt has written extensively on environmental subjects including a monthly column and various book chapters and other publications. She is currently the President of the Cambridge Water Board and is a recipient of the city’s Fresh Pond Stewardship Award. Ms. Roosevelt is President of a real estate company in Cambridge where she lives with her husband, Jim. She has an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.A. from Boston University.
