3. Leave a Lasting Legacy
ELM has been fighting to protect the Massachusetts environment since 1898, and we intend to continue fighting for generations to come. Please help us protect the Massachusetts environment for future generations by including ELM in your estate plans.
Ways to give
- Bequests: A simple way to leave a lasting gift is to name ELM as a beneficiary in your will, by a sum of dollars or a percentage of your estate. It costs you nothing now, and you can change the terms at any time. When meeting with your attorney to discuss estate planning, please consider including ELM in your plans.Feel free to use this sample language: “I bequeath to the Environmental League of Massachusetts, Inc. (ELM), a charitable corporation established by law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the sum of ______ dollars (or percentage of estate) to be a) used for the general purposes of ELM at the direction of its Board of Directors or b) added to ELM’s permanent restricted endowment.”ELM’s tax ID number is: 04-2760271.
- ELM is also happy to work with you on a plan that best suits your financial and charitable goals. To begin a conversation about how you can help assure the future success of ELM through your estate planning, contact Anne Meyer at email@example.com or call 617-742-2553 for more information.
