ELM Statement on House Vote on Mass Leads Act

June 28, 2024 – Yesterday, the House voted to pass H.4789, An Act relative to strengthening Massachusetts’ economic leadership, otherwise known as the Mass Leads Act, including significant funding for a 10-year initiative to make Massachusetts a global hub for climatetech. This game-changing legislation will grow our state’s economy, build our clean energy workforce, drive competitive growth, and help us build a thriving clean energy future. 

ELM thanks House leadership, including Speaker Ronald Mariano, Chair Aaron Michlewitz, Chair Michael Finn, and Chair Jerald Parisella, for advancing key climatetech provisions. We look forward to continuing our work with the Massachusetts Legislature to advance this robust economic development package.
