May 11, 2026 – The Environmental League of Massachusetts today announced that Mardi Fuller has joined ELM and the ELM Action Fund as Vice President of Partnerships and Communications. In this newly formed role, Fuller will lead efforts to expand strategic partnerships and shape communications at a pivotal moment for state-level climate leadership.
Fuller will lead collaboration with ELM’s Corporate Council, a deep, working alliance between the private sector and environmental advocates to improve environmental policy and business practice in the Commonwealth. She will partner closely with business leaders to expand the Council’s impact and accelerate progress on climate solutions across Massachusetts. Fuller will also guide ELM’s communications strategy, expand the organization’s reach, and help shape the narrative around the clean energy transition at a time when state leadership is increasingly critical to climate progress.
“Mardi brings impressive expertise in persuasive storytelling and strategy building, with a deep commitment to equity in our climate transition,” said Elizabeth Turnbull Henry, President of ELM and the ELM Action Fund. “She is exceptionally well positioned to take ELM’s partnerships and communications to the next level. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the team as we ensure Massachusetts continues to lead on climate.”
“I’m thrilled to join ELM at such a pivotal moment for climate leadership in Massachusetts,” said Mardi Fuller. “I look forward to amplifying the organization’s successes while growing the community of advocates needed to meet the scale of the challenges ahead. I’m excited to join such a strong team and help unlock the next level of impact through expanded reach, partnerships, and engagement.”
Most recently, Fuller founded a communications consultancy supporting leading environmental organizations, including Conservation Law Foundation and The Conservation Alliance. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Appalachian Mountain Club. Previously, she was Director of External Relations at Boston Plan for Excellence, where she led corporate partnerships, communications, and supported legislative advocacy.
Mardi is also an active, engaging advocate for racial justice in outdoor recreation. She has been published in The Boston Globe and Outside, is the focus of the Mardi and the Whites documentary, and builds community on her Instagram @wherelocsflyfree.
Fuller begins her role at ELM on May 11.
