Bella Southwood

Bella Southwood joined the ELM team in July 2026 as Operations Coordinator. In her role, she supports ELM’s day-to-day operations and works collaboratively across the organization to advance ELM’s mission. 

Prior to joining ELM, Bella worked in renewable energy, environmental science, and workforce development. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, she conducted marine research and worked in aquaculture while also serving as an Intern on Vineyard Wind’s Fisheries Team, where she supported community outreach and project development efforts. Most recently, she was a Fellow at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, focusing on program management and clean energy workforce development initiatives. 

Bella holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Aquaculture and Fisheries Science and a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the University of Rhode Island. She is passionate about building strong relationships with communities and creating a healthier environment through clean energy solutions.
