Jessie Duncan runs an advisory firm which develops and executes strategies for sustainable investing organizations, impact investing funds, and philanthropic entities. Clients include the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), the Laudes Foundation and other foundations and family offices.
Jessie has worked for nearly two decades across the social impact and sustainable finance sectors in various capacities. Most recently, she was Senior Program Officer for the Tipping Point Fund on Impact Investing (TPF) where she led TPF’s strategy and grantmaking. Prior to TPF, she was a Principal and Expert with Boston Consulting Group (BCG)’s social impact practice.
Previously, Jessie was Head of Strategy and Senior Portfolio Manager for Medtronic Labs (an impact fund and innovation lab focused on health tech in emerging markets), an Advisor to Ambassador Samantha Power at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, and a Manager at the Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte). Jessie holds a B.A. with Honors from Stanford University, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and an MPA from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs.
Jessie serves on the Board of the Intentional Endowments Network (IEN), a network of mission-aligned investing endowed Institutions – and as a Senior Advisor to Multiplier Advisors. She is also involved in the MA Chapters of Moms Out Front and Moms Demand Action. Jessie lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with her husband and two young sons.
