Kevin McGovern

Kevin retired in June 2024 after having spent 39 years at Deloitte LLP, most recently as the Vice Chair for Deloitte’s US East Region and as Managing Partner for Deloitte’s New England practice, where his primary focus was on identifying opportunities for Deloitte to increase client revenue and community impact.  One of the hallmarks of Kevin’s time as New England Managing Partner was to launch Deloitte’s efforts in the climatetech space, working alongside other organizations such as the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership and ELM, to assure Massachusetts remains a national leader in climatetech.  Most recently, Kevin has been active in the business community supporting the proposed Massachusetts legislation for climatetech funding.  Kevin is a proven leader and builder of successful teams; he is known for his collaborative style and ability to communicate issues clearly and thoroughly.

Kevin is an avid cyclist, riding in the Pan Mass Challenge for the last 20 years and having raised over $285,000 for cancer research and patient care.
