Peter DeFeo

Peter DeFeo is the Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer – Emeritus of VetCor, one of the leading veterinary practice acquisition and operating companies in North America, where he now advises the CEO, CLO, and senior management team.  Peter previously held the roles of Chief Development Officer and Chief Legal Officer at VetCor.  Peter also worked as in-house counsel for several companies in the energy and environmental fields, and began his career as a mergers and acquisitions, securities, and project finance lawyer at several Boston law firms, including Goodwin Procter.

Peter is a member of the Cancer Research and Care Advisory Council at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and the Board of Trustees at Lawrence Academy.

Peter received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. in History from Tufts University.

Currently residing in Natick and Edgartown, Peter enjoys spending time on the water and attending Celtics and Red Sox games.
