A message from Revolution Wind:
Revolution Wind is an exciting new offshore wind project currently being developed by Orsted and Eversource that will bring a combined 704 megawatts of renewable energy to Connecticut and Rhode Island. When complete in 2025, the project will provide enough clean energy to power more than 350,000 New England homes and play a critical role in meeting the region’s emission reduction goals. As a driver of economic growth and opportunity, the project is expected to directly create up to 1,200 new jobs as well as dozens of additional long-term operations and maintenance positions upon completion. As one of the nation’s earliest offshore wind farms, Revolution Wind is already helping to create an entirely new domestic supply chain in the United States, bringing the benefits of clean energy to communities across the Northeast and beyond.
