Christoph has focused for nearly 20 years on climate, sustainability, transportation technology and AI-related topics. He has advised companies and government authorities in Europe, the US and Asia in the automotive, logistics, technology, energy, agriculture, financial services, real estate, and telecommunication sectors.
He is a passionate passenger and road freight transportation thought leader in areas of software defined, AI-powered and autonomous cars and (on- and off-highway) trucks, smart infrastructure and electric and hydrogen transportation. Project areas he specialises in include market entry and expansion strategies, grant funding, partnerships and alliances, due diligence, product and technology roadmaps, M&A, and policy as well as mobility incubator set ups.
In addition, Christoph has authored/co-authored more than two dozen future mobility-related thought leadership pieces and he has also testified as an expert witness on transportation technologies in an arbitration proceeding before three Indian Supreme Court judges.
Since moving to the US in autumn of 2022, he has worked most recently as the head of business development at Cerence AI, and before that at Guidehouse. Prior to that, he worked in London (UK), where helped set up the global mobility teams of FTI Consulting and KPMG. He also worked at Frost & Sullivan, IHS Markit and GlobalInsight
Christoph regularly speaks to the business press and has presented, chaired and participated in panels at over 50 international industry events (e.g. presenting at CES in Las Vegas, IAA in Hannover, MOVE in London and chairing panels for Shell, Iveco, Hyundai, Barclays and JP Morgan).
In 2021, he also helped to set up and joined the London Clean Air Initiative in Central London (UK) as an advisory board member, the first not-for-profit action group working to increase the quality of air in London.
Christoph has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.
