Lara Cardoso

Lara joined the Environmental League of MA (ELM) team in December of 2024 as the organization’s Events Manager. Lara has a strong background in environmental advocacy, with experience in numerous roles throughout the environmental field.

While obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies & Sustainability from the University of Massachusetts Boston, she worked as a Campaign and Advocacy Fellow with ELM in the fall of 2021. She transitioned through several other roles in the environmental field during her undergraduate career. Most recently, she worked as a Climate Justice Community Organizer with the Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative while earning her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Environmental Management from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Raised in Brockton MA, Lara is extremely passionate about environmental advocacy, with a strong focus on climate justice and an equitable transition to clean energy and sustainability initiatives in Massachusetts. She is very excited to rejoin the ELM team and work collaboratively across the organization to support ELM events.
