Kevin Dutt is a serial entrepreneur, focused on the energy and food technology sectors that have strong sustainability and impact components. He has led successful business ventures in the US and abroad, including in solar powered products, water management, green buildings, electric vehicles, anaerobic digestion, and seafood traceability. He was on the founding team of BigBelly Solar, which was acquired by Waste Management. He also oversaw the acquisition and turnaround of eGo Vehicles.
Kevin also managed the Boston Impact Fund, which focuses on investing in underserved communities in the Greater Boston Area. He has advised clean technology companies under the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust (now MassCEC) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), where he sat on the Technical Evaluation Panel for applicant review for various clean technology grants.
Prior to working with environmentally sustainable businesses, Kevin spent more than ten years improving the operations of top global corporations including AMP, International Paper, and Bayer. He led initiatives for operational effectiveness and efficiency. Kevin earned his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and his MBA at Boston University, where he specialized in operations and quantitative methods. He is an avid cyclist, rower, and winter hiker.
